What we collect

Booking details
Name, email, phone number, gestational week, and any notes you add to the booking. Required to carry out the appointment and to reach you before or after your visit.
Source information
When you reach the booking form we record where your visit started (a Google link, Instagram, email, or direct) and which page you were on when you clicked "Book appointment." This is stored alongside your booking and helps us understand which channels actually work.
Anonymous usage statistics
Number of visits, which pages are read, and which country the visit originates from. The statistics are aggregated and cannot be traced back to you as an individual.

Legal basis

  • Performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) — to carry out the booking you have requested.
  • Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) — to see which channels clients find us through, and to improve the site. We have assessed that this is not intrusive: no cross-site tracking, no profiling, only what you submitted alongside your booking.
  • Health data (gestational week, notes) is processed under GDPR art. 9(2)(h) in conjunction with art. 9(3) — provision of healthcare by a health professional bound by professional secrecy (helsepersonelloven §21).

Cookies and storage

We do not use cookies on this site.

Your browser temporarily remembers your source information in sessionStorage. This is time-limited and is cleared automatically when you close the tab or the browser.

If you have Do Not Track enabled in your browser, we collect neither usage statistics nor source information from your visit. The booking works normally.

Recipients and storage

We share data with the following processors:

  • Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace Inc., USA) — the booking system. We have a data processing agreement with standard contractual clauses permitting the transfer to the USA.
  • Gigahost (Norway) — website and analytics tool (Umami). Data does not leave the EEA.

Retention

  • Bookings are retained as long as necessary for follow-up and billing. Medical records are kept and stored separately under applicable Norwegian healthcare law.
  • Aggregated statistics contain no individual traces and are kept indefinitely.
  • Source information in your browser is cleared when you close the tab.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Contact post@ultraportalen.no to exercise your rights.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe we are processing your data in breach of the regulations.

We make no automated decisions or profiling based on your data.
